Trip to Alaska Travel Details

The first leg of the trip to Alaska will be the travel from your hometown to Anchorage, Alaska. Your final leg is from Anchorage to Dillingham, Alaska, 350 miles southwest of Anchorage, which is served by Ravn Alaska or Alaska Airlines.
Flight reservations
We strongly recommend that you make your flight reservations as soon as possible.

Important Travel Details:
Please schedule to arrive in Dillingham, AK on the latest flight offered on Sundays and depart Dillingham, AK on Saturdays on the earliest flight offered. We follow the current Alaska Airlines jet schedule for the pick-up and drop-off times. Please call for assistance if you cannot meet this schedule.
Updated March 2024 – We follow the current Alaska Airlines jet schedule for the pick-up and drop-off times. There have been multiple changes already for this summer. On the day of your arrival which is Sunday, please book the latest flight offered which for most Sundays is currently Flight AS2322 arriving in DLG at 4:58 PM. On the day of your departure, which is Saturday, please book the earliest flight offered which is currently Flight AS54 departing DLG at 11:22 AM. Please check the current schedule as times are subject to change. Please call for assistance if you cannot meet this schedule.
Upon your arrival, you will be met at the Dillingham airport by one of our staff. After retrieving your luggage, you will be transported by our van and then by a covered jet boat 35 miles northwest to Alaska’s Bearclaw Lodge. The total trip time from the airport to the lodge takes about 60 minutes.
Due to our remote location, we have scheduled pickup and drop-off times at the Dillingham airport. If there are any questions, please contact us at your earliest convenience before booking your flights. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Lodging in Anchorage
Some guests coming from the lower 48 may not be able to make the trip to Dillingham in one day. While there are many choices, here are a few recommendations for hotels in the Anchorage area.

Close to the airport. Free airport transportation. Indoor pool, rooms with whirlpools, restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. A nice moderate property.
