Summer temperatures in our area are mild and can range from the 40’s to the high 70’s. The weather is unpredictable and can reach either extreme during any week in the season. Storms and rainy, windy weather can occur at any time during the season. Be prepared for everything from cool, windy, and rainy to warm, calm, and sunny. Plan on some type of precipitation to occur at some point during your trip. Each year the weather patterns are different from week to week, day to day, even hour to hour. Generally, June and September are wetter and cooler. July and August are warmer and drier.
